I make stuff. Paintings, mostly. I create, I destroy, I do my best.

Painting is time travel. It mediates, through its materiality, between the ambiguity of self and the changing awareness of a never-ending present moment. As images, my paintings represent inverted archaeologies of consciousness. As artifacts, they function as a beacons, communicating specifically, selectively and personally. My commitment to painting is essential, necessary and relevant because it exists concurrently within the last 60,000 years of human mark making.

My secret fantasy is that my work makes its way into interstellar burial chambers, to be preserved and discovered deep in the future by non-human races.
