Right Brain, Meet Left Brain

I’m equally strong in the design and execution of front-end interfaces (HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Ajax) and back-end applications (Object-Oriented PHP, Python, RESTful API design, database design).

One thing that sets me apart from most developers is that while many developers usually depend upon one framework or another (EG: CodeIgnitor or Kohana, both of which I am well-versed in), or one CMS or another (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) I have built my own PHP framework and home-grown CMS solutions. Another thing that separates me from many programmers is that I am skilled in graphic design. I’ve studied graphic design and possess a degree in Fine Art. I’ve worked with clients to design and program entire sites myself, and I’ve worked in collaboration with respected concept artists, who often bring innovative, if occasionally unorthodox ideas to the table. I always strive to remain flexible and open-minded in my approach.
